On February 2, Bloomberg released an article highlighting that, despite Apple's record-breaking holiday quarter earnings, its delayed progress in artificial intelligence (AI) renders its transformation increasingly urgent over the long term. The article emphasized that Apple must revamp its hardware and operating systems with an "AI-first" mindset and overhaul its product development strategies; otherwise, sustaining its current sales momentum will prove challenging. Although the iPhone 17 Pro has enjoyed tremendous success, Apple still trails significantly behind its Silicon Valley rivals in generative AI technology. To preserve its competitive edge in the industry, Apple is pursuing a "multi-pronged strategy," encompassing an AI-powered service ecosystem, wearable and smart home devices, and the enhancement of its Siri assistant to become more intelligent.
