On February 1, 2026, tech media outlet Windows Latest reported that Microsoft Copilot is currently piloting a new functionality named 'Reminders.' This feature is being gradually introduced to all mobile users, although its web version only offers limited support at present. In terms of accessibility, the Copilot reminder feature is available to users at no cost. However, subscribers to Microsoft 365 Personal enjoy enhanced privileges, including the ability to set a greater number of reminders (up to 20, in contrast to the maximum of 5 allowed for free users). The Copilot reminder system accommodates both single-use and recurring reminders, ensuring seamless synchronization across multiple devices. Nevertheless, it's important to note that reminder notifications are exclusively dispatched to mobile devices. To ensure the receipt of these alerts, users must grant notification permissions to the app; failure to do so will result in the absence of reminders. Beyond the reminder feature, Copilot has also unveiled several other enhancements. These include the capability to pin chat sessions to the sidebar for easy access, the convenience of one-click conversation sharing, and the generation of concise conversation summaries.
