Recently, a highly flexible and intelligent AI computing power supply system R&D and industrialization project, boasting a total investment of 500 million yuan, has officially kicked off construction in Xinqiao Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai. This project, which was signed at the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, accomplished the extraordinary feat of securing 'three certificates issued in a single day'—a testament to its rapid approval process.
Spanning an area of 46.1 mu (roughly equivalent to 30,733 square meters) and encompassing a total construction area of 67,800 square meters, the project is poised to tackle the power supply bottleneck faced by high-power AI servers. By developing a new generation of high-performance power supply systems, it aims to offer comprehensive power supply solutions tailored for global AI computing centers.
Once fully operational, the project is anticipated to churn out 40,000 sets of high-end power supply systems annually, with an annual output value projected to range between 4 billion and 6 billion yuan. This development is set to significantly bolster Shanghai's standing in the realms of high-end power supplies and AI computing infrastructure.
