On January 30th Beijing time, OpenAI announced that it would discontinue multiple models in its ChatGPT chatbot starting from February, including GPT-4o, GPT-4.1, GPT-4.1mini, OpenAI o4-mini, as well as the previously announced GPT-5Instant and GPT-5Thinking. Currently, only 0.1% of users are still using GPT-4o, with the vast majority having switched to GPT-5.2.
