In an interview, Apple's CEO Tim Cook unequivocally stated that, despite partnering with Google, Apple's privacy policies will remain intact. The Apple Intelligence architecture will continue to rely on 'on-device processing' and 'private cloud computing'. While Apple does tap into Google's technological prowess, this doesn't equate to a wholesale substitution. Google's Gemini model is mainly employed to train and refine Apple's proprietary foundational models. The core technology underpinning Apple Intelligence stays firmly in Apple's hands. The upcoming iteration of Siri is slated to debut alongside the iOS 26.4 system. It's anticipated to offer functionalities on par with mainstream large language models, all while upholding stringent privacy and security standards. Moreover, Apple has plans to unveil further enhancements to Siri at WWDC 2026. These improvements will empower Siri with more robust conversational memory capabilities, enabling it to tailor responses based on the user's tone and emotions. However, Siri won't be launched as a separate 'Siri App'.
