On January 27th, during the "Star Computing·Intelligent Networking" Space Computing Symposium, an event hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Wang Yabo, the Executive Vice President of GospaceX, revealed a groundbreaking achievement. He stated that in November 2025, GospaceX accomplished the deployment of the Qwen3 large model at the space computing center of Group 01, as part of the "Star Computing" initiative. This marked the world's first-ever on-orbit deployment of a general-purpose large model. Following this milestone, the Qwen large model efficiently carried out several end-to-end inference tasks in space, with the entire operation completed in under 2 minutes, showcasing remarkable speed and efficiency.
