Roberto Moreno, once the interim head coach of the Spanish national team, found himself out of a job after his excessive reliance on ChatGPT for decision-making led to his dismissal by a Russian First Division team. Moreno parted ways with the Russian First Division side, Sochi, in September of last year, following a dismal run where he managed to secure just a single point in seven matches. Andrey Orlov, Sochi's ex-sports director, revealed that Moreno had developed an almost superstitious trust in ChatGPT. He went as far as to plan his travel itineraries based on the AI's recommendations and even scheduled players for grueling early morning training sessions and marathon 28-hour continuous training without rest. When it came to player recruitment, Moreno again turned to ChatGPT, but the new signings failed to deliver, performing below par. Moreover, Moreno displayed a lack of empathy towards both his assistant coaches and players. Under his leadership, Sochi suffered a demotion from the Russian Premier League to the Russian First Division, drawing widespread criticism from fans. It's worth noting that Moreno had previously served as the interim head coach of the Spanish national team before officially stepping into the role.
