According to three high-ranking EU officials cited by Germany's "Handelsblatt," the European Commission is set to commence formal proceedings on Monday against Grok—an AI chatbot developed by Musk's xAI—under the Digital Services Act (DSA). The objective is to compel xAI to remove Grok from the EU market. Earlier, Grok faced bans in Indonesia and Malaysia and has been the subject of investigations in numerous countries due to its misuse in generating pornographic material, including illegal images involving minors.
