The commercial value of AI infrastructure is gradually becoming evident. For instance, SKT expects that data center revenue will account for 4% of its total revenue by the third quarter of 2025, and it plans to achieve a revenue target of KRW 1 trillion by 2030. Meanwhile, Ooredoo anticipates that the proportion of its digital infrastructure revenue will increase from 3% in 2025 to 12% in 2030. To expand their AI infrastructure footprint, operators are investing through multi-year capital expenditure commitments, with operators in regions such as Asia-Pacific and Europe making intensive investments in areas like cloud services and data centers.
