Google has just rolled out the 'Me Meme' generative AI functionality within its photo application, Google Photos. This innovative addition empowers users to seamlessly blend their photos with pre-designed templates, automatically crafting personalized meme expressions. The feature made its debut via the Google Photos community on Thursday (local time) and is, for the time being, accessible to users based in the United States.
To utilize this feature, users are required to pick an official template or upload a reference image of their choice. Subsequently, they should select a well-lit, front-facing portrait photo that is crisp and clear. With a simple click, the meme generation process is initiated. Once the meme is generated, users have the flexibility to edit it as per their preferences, save it to their gallery for future use, or instantly share it with their network.
