On January 23, Bloomberg reported that Malaysia had lifted the temporary suspension it had imposed on Musk’s AI - powered chatbot, Grok. Earlier, Grok faced a ban owing to its misuse in creating inappropriate images that featured women and minors. In response, the developer xAI has now introduced enhanced safety protocols aimed at curbing the generation of sexualized depictions of individuals. The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission has also indicated that it will maintain ongoing oversight of the situation.
