On Wednesday, Fidji Simo, the CEO of Applied Business at OpenAI, informed employees that, as part of the company's ongoing organizational restructuring efforts, Barrett Zoff—a co-founder of Thinking Machines Lab—will take charge of driving the sales of OpenAI's artificial intelligence products to enterprises. Zoff made a return to OpenAI last week amidst a swirl of controversy. According to an internal memo obtained by The Information, OpenAI's Chief Operating Officer, Brad Lightcap, will relinquish his oversight of enterprise products and engineering, though he will retain responsibility for the company's broader commercial operations.
