Researchers at Johns Hopkins University in the United States have created a novel autonomous robotic system. This innovative system combines high-resolution imaging technology with advanced deep-learning algorithms. Such integration allows for highly precise retinal vein intubation at the micrometer level, thereby paving a new way for the treatment of severe ocular diseases. Studies indicate that the robot attained a 90% success rate in intubating stationary eyeballs, and even under dynamic simulation conditions, it maintained an impressive 83% success rate. The pertinent findings have been published in the esteemed journal "Science Robotics".
