On January 21, Zhipu issued an announcement concerning the temporary limited availability of the GLM Coding Plan for purchase. Following the introduction of GLM-4.7, there has been a swift surge in the number of users subscribing to this plan. This rapid growth has, at times, placed significant pressure on computational resources. Lately, some users have reported experiencing problems, including concurrent throttling errors and a noticeable slowdown in model performance, particularly during peak usage hours from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on weekdays. To mitigate these issues and ensure a more seamless programming experience for current users, Zhipu has made the decision to temporarily restrict the sales of the GLM Coding Plan. After the implementation of this restriction, the daily sales volume will be capped at 20% of the current levels. This measure is aimed at allocating more computational resources to enhance the overall user experience. The restricted sales period will begin on January 23 at 10:00 AM, with the daily sales quota being reset at the same time each day.
