At present, the project has already surpassed half of its initially planned capacity goal. The first batch of sites in Texas has commenced training and is now in service. Meanwhile, numerous sites in Texas, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Michigan are in the process of development.

OpenAI has made a firm commitment to independently shoulder all the energy costs associated with the 'Stargate' community projects. This proactive measure is intended to ensure that the project's operations do not cause a spike in electricity prices.
