According to TechCrunch, Thinking Machines Lab, a startup founded by former OpenAI executive Mira Murati, announced that its Chief Technology Officer and co-founder Barrett Zoph has left the company. Murati posted on the X platform that Sumeet Chintala will take over as the Chief Technology Officer. Zoph, previously the Vice President of Research at OpenAI, joined Murati's startup after leaving OpenAI in 2024 but has now returned to OpenAI.
