Amid a surge of criticism stemming from accusations that its AI chatbot, Grok, has caused harm to women and children, Musk's company xAI has declared that it will deactivate the functionality enabling the tool to produce pornographic images of real people. On January 14, xAI made a post on the social media platform X, stating that it had put in place technical safeguards to prevent Grok from altering images of real individuals to portray them in scantily-clad attire. This modification is applicable to all users, encompassing those with paid subscriptions as well.
