On January 9th, the latest data from Hugging Face showed that the download volume of Alibaba's QianWen large model surged in December 2025, surpassing the combined total of the 2nd to 8th place models. Since surpassing Meta in download volume in the second half of 2025, Alibaba's QianWen has accumulated a total of 700 million downloads, becoming the open-source model with the highest adoption rate among global developers.
