As the new year commences, the brain-computer interface (BCI) sector has demonstrated remarkable momentum, with nearly 20 individual stocks reaching the daily price limit for two consecutive days. Zhan Yubo, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, emphasized that this "robust start" is a result of the market's acknowledgment of the immense potential demand for BCIs, coupled with accelerated industrialization efforts and robust national strategic support. At present, China's BCI industry has achieved significant advancements in key areas such as signal acquisition, decoding algorithms, and medical rehabilitation. It is now transitioning from a "policy-driven" phase to an "industrial implementation" phase. Fueled by supportive policies, technological innovations, and capital investments, it is anticipated that the industrialization process of BCIs will gain further momentum by 2026.
