In mid-December, Xiaomi unveiled and made open-source its self-developed large model, MiMo-V2-Flash. Subsequently, MiMo, in collaboration with the Xiaomi Large Model Core team, declared that the free trial period, initially slated to conclude in late December 2025, would now be prolonged until 14:00 on January 20, 2026. Throughout this extended timeframe, users will have the opportunity to leverage the model API's core functionalities without incurring any charges. The payment system for the MiMo API open platform is set to be enabled prior to the public beta's end and will undergo a trial phase lasting around one week. Therefore, it's recommended that users recharge their accounts beforehand. Regarding the pricing of the model API, two distinct criteria have been established: one for domestic users and another for overseas users. MiMo-V2-Flash exhibits remarkable performance across a variety of scenarios. As a versatile assistant, it encompasses a staggering 309 billion parameters, with 15 billion of them being active, thereby positioning its overall performance among the top tier of open-source large models.
