On December 22, Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen unveiled its innovative image generation model, Qwen-Image-Layered. Leveraging a proprietary architecture, this model can deconstruct an image into several independently modifiable layers, ensuring that changes made to one layer do not impact the others. This layered framework facilitates high-precision editing capabilities, including resizing, repositioning, and color adjustments. Notably, Qwen-Image-Layered has been made openly accessible on both ModelScope and HuggingFace platforms, enabling developers and businesses to freely download and utilize it for commercial purposes without incurring any costs.
