On December 20th, the CCID Research Institute released its "Outlook on the Development Trends of China's AI Industry in 2026," projecting that China's AI sector will continue its robust growth trajectory in 2026. Specifically, the share of intelligent computing capacity is expected to surpass 35%, with domestically developed chips poised for large-scale deployment in select applications. The report further predicts that, in the upcoming year, China's advancements in large-scale model technologies will center on enhancing critical aspects such as deepening physical understanding, boosting reasoning efficiency, and pioneering architectural innovations. Concurrently, there will be a marked improvement in the quality and accessibility of data resources, driven by the accelerated development of high-caliber Chinese language corpora and industry-specific datasets. Moreover, AI technology is rapidly expanding its influence, transitioning from front-end service applications to core operational domains, including research, development, and production processes.
