On December 19, the China Meteorological Administration released the meteorological artificial intelligence scientific model 'Fengyuan' in the Xiong'an New Area, Hebei Province. This model provides an open-source scientific innovation platform foundation, aiming to enhance the capabilities of artificial intelligence weather forecasting models and support scientific research. 'Fengyuan' is an end-to-end scientific model independently developed by China's meteorological sector, with autonomous and controllable key technological components and an engineering foundation for continuous iteration. The core capabilities of its V1.0 version include data assimilation and forecasting modules, enabling global weather forecasting based on observational data.
