Fidji Simo, the head of OpenAI's Applied Business division, announced that Apple Music is poised to become one of the key partners integrating with ChatGPT in the near future. Last October, OpenAI unveiled application capabilities within ChatGPT and rolled out a preview version of its application software development kit. Simo highlighted that a new application catalog will showcase a broader range of apps, and other developers are invited to submit their applications for evaluation.

Adobe has already introduced three apps on the ChatGPT platform, with plans to enhance them with additional features in the coming weeks. The anticipated integration method for Apple Music with ChatGPT is expected to mirror that of Spotify. This means users will be able to send natural language commands to ChatGPT, which will then generate playlists that can be played directly. Additionally, users will have the ability to search for content they can't quite recall using natural language queries. This integration offers a convenient and innovative option for users who are already familiar with ChatGPT.
