Recently, security researchers have brought to light a disturbing discovery: a group of browser extensions, which present themselves as "privacy guardians," are, in reality, covertly pilfering and peddling the complete chat histories of users on prominent AI platforms. This insidious activity has impacted over 8 million users. These seemingly innocuous extensions, which can be found on Microsoft Edge as well as other browsers built on the Chromium framework, have the capability to target no fewer than ten AI platforms.
