On December 16, reports indicated that, under the guidance of the Cybersecurity Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology has officially launched its professional database for security vulnerabilities in artificial intelligence (AI) products. This database went live on December 12, 2025.

It encompasses a wide range of sectors, including general networks, industrial control systems, government information technology innovation, mobile internet applications (APPs), and Internet of Vehicles products. The database establishes a comprehensive vulnerability management system structured as "one master database plus five specialized databases."

Moving forward, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology will leverage this database to gather and authenticate security vulnerabilities in AI products. It will urge relevant product providers to promptly address and rectify these vulnerabilities, support the standardized management of AI product security vulnerabilities, and collaboratively cultivate a secure and well-ordered industrial ecosystem.
