On December 12, 2025, under the guidance of the Cybersecurity Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the professional database for artificial intelligence product security vulnerabilities (CAIVD), developed by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), was officially launched. This database aims to establish a system for the collection, analysis, assessment, notification, early warning, and handling of AI security vulnerabilities, standardize the channels for vulnerability collection and publication, and support the high-quality and healthy development of China's AI industry. Next, CAICT will leverage CAIVD to collect and verify vulnerabilities, urge product providers to promptly patch them, support standardized management, and jointly build a secure and orderly industrial ecosystem.
