OPPO has implemented organizational restructuring within its AI Center, amalgamating three key business units: Xiaobu Memory, Xiaobu Assistant, and Xiaobu Suggestions, to give rise to the 'Super Xiaobu' initiative. This groundbreaking project will fall under the centralized management of the newly established Smart Product R&D Department, aimed at consolidating internal resources and elevating the AI experience at a systemic level. Leading the charge is Jiang Yuchen, the former director of Xiaobu Memory.
OPPO inaugurated its AI Center in January 2024 and, in the ensuing two years, has spearheaded the introduction of numerous innovative products. Prior to this, in 2023, Jiang Yuchen founded Waveform Intelligence, a venture that was subsequently fully acquired by OPPO in October 2024.
