On December 10th, Beijing time, following several months of assembling what is arguably the most expensive team in the annals of technological development, Meta's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has taken a hands-on approach by personally engaging in the day-to-day operations. This move is aimed at steering the company's strategic direction firmly towards the development of artificial intelligence models that are ripe for commercialization. Sources with inside knowledge of the situation have revealed that a new model, codenamed Avocado, is slated for release next spring. There is a strong likelihood that this model will be launched as a closed-source solution. During the intensive training phase of the Avocado model, TBD Lab has leveraged cutting-edge technologies from a variety of third-party models. This has involved a meticulous process of refining and amalgamating competitive technologies, including Google's Gemma, OpenAI's gpt-oss, and Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen (commonly known as Qwen).
