On December 9th Eastern Time, the U.S. Department of Defense announced the selection of Gemini for Government system from Alphabet, Google's parent company, to provide artificial intelligence capabilities for approximately 3 million civilian and military employees. It will be deployed through the new platform GenAI.mil, enabling employees to use it on their work computers.
