Alongside this rebranding, the model's version has been upgraded to 2.0. The primary motivation behind this rebranding is to streamline communication processes and foster greater compatibility with the global market. Looking ahead, the brand will employ a structured naming convention to illustrate its technological advancements, while also distancing itself from overt Chinese cultural connotations. Notably, the independent AI assistant brand, Tencent Yuanbao, will retain its original name, ensuring that users can continue to access Tencent's AI services seamlessly through 'Yuanbao'.
