The 29th Academic Conference on Gastroenterology, organized by the Sichuan Medical Association, took place in Chengdu. Amidst the conference proceedings, an event marking the debut of the 'Ruibin 2' medical intelligent agent was also held. Xie Liming, who serves as the President of Huawei's Flash Storage Domain, graced the occasion and officially launched Huawei's AI data platform. Traditional medical services heavily rely on the expertise of seasoned professionals, making it challenging to disseminate resources to the grassroots level. Furthermore, the deployment of medical intelligent agents encounters a multitude of hurdles. Huawei's AI data platform, constructed atop the OceanStor A800 storage system and fortified with intelligent computing prowess, boasts three pivotal technologies: knowledge generation and retrieval, memory extraction and recall, as well as UCM reasoning acceleration. These capabilities pave the way for the widespread adoption of medical intelligent agents. Leveraging this platform, West China Hospital, in collaboration with other institutions, introduced the 'Ruibin 2' medical intelligent agent, which offers patients a holistic suite of diagnostic and treatment services throughout their disease journey, while also providing doctors with intelligent research assistance.
