Recently, Beijing International Studies University’s Digital Cultural Tourism Research Center has officially launched China’s inaugural ‘AI Travel Assistant Evaluation System.’ Developed by a team of experts, this system evaluates across five key dimensions: usability, ease of use, personalization, security, and fluency. Its purpose is to establish a scientific benchmark for assessing AI travel assistants within the industry. During the initial round of evaluations, Fliggy AI Assistant emerged as the leader, achieving a comprehensive score of 724.92 (out of a possible 900). Chengxin AI and Alipay Travel Assistant secured the second and third positions, respectively. The evaluation outcomes highlight that the AI travel assistant sector is currently experiencing rapid growth, demonstrating robust capabilities in content recommendation. However, there remain areas for improvement in execution and implementation. By leveraging its comprehensive travel ecosystem and integrating AI technology, Fliggy AI Assistant excelled in various scenarios, including activity and gameplay suggestions, as well as dining recommendations. Particularly noteworthy is its in-depth exploration into creating a closed-loop transaction system, offering practical insights and case studies for the broader industry.
