On the 25th, the American artificial intelligence platform Suno inked a cooperation pact with Warner Music Group. The aim is to collaboratively forge a new era of licensed AI-generated music and ensure fair compensation for artists and musicians affected by the rise of artificial intelligence. Previously, Warner Music Group had teamed up with other record labels to initiate legal action against Suno and another AI music platform, Udio. They alleged that these platforms had infringed upon the creative works and likenesses of artists and musicians by using them to train their generative AI models. The attainment of this cooperation agreement has effectively put an end to the legal tussles between the two entities.
