On November 13, 2025, at the Baidu World 2025 Conference, Baidu unveiled that its highly convincing digital human technology—mirroring the likeness of "Luo Yonghao"—had been successfully platformized. This breakthrough was set to be accessible industry-wide, aiming to empower live streamers to clone their digital avatars. However, the live demonstration took an unexpected turn. As staff members engaged in real-time interaction with the "Digital Human Luo Yonghao," the screen abruptly went black. Despite multiple attempts to re-establish the connection, the efforts proved futile. Ultimately, the demonstration concluded with a teaser: "The suspense will be unveiled in subsequent experiences." Li Yanhong, acknowledging the hiccup, described the demonstration as "somewhat regrettable." Nevertheless, he underscored the technology's stellar performance during the 618 and Double 11 e-commerce shopping festivals. Notably, during Double 11, a staggering 83% of live streamers who went live utilized digital humans, and the number of live streaming rooms surged by 119% year-on-year.
