During the Baidu World Conference on November 13, 2025, Li Yanhong, Baidu's founder, disclosed that a substantial majority of Baidu Search results are now generated by artificial intelligence. Notably, the first search result boasts a rich media coverage rate of 70%, encompassing diverse formats such as images, videos, live streams, and digital human interactions.

Li Yanhong underscored Baidu's transformative approach, highlighting how the company has harnessed AI to overhaul its search result pages. This evolution marks a shift from traditional internet search, which was predominantly text- and link-based, to an AI-driven search experience centered around rich media content like images and videos.

Currently, Baidu is making its AI search capabilities accessible through AI APIs. It has forged partnerships with 625 manufacturers, including industry giants such as Samsung, Honor, and vivo, to further expand its reach and enhance user experience.
