On November 12, 2025, TRAE rolled out the official version of SOLO, dubbed "The Responsive Coding Agent." This platform is tailored to offer professional developers an innovative AI-driven programming experience, characterized by real-time responsiveness, on-demand control, and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Through the TRAE International Edition, users can avail themselves of a time-limited free trial.
Since the beta release of SOLO in July, its integrated SOLO Builder agent has been instrumental in facilitating application development from the ground up. The official version introduces the newly developed SOLOCoder agent, specifically crafted for intricate development scenarios. This agent streamlines feature iteration, code refactoring, and bug resolution, enabling users to scale their projects from initial concepts to full-fledged implementations.
Developers can exercise enhanced control and receive professional engineering guidance via the "Plan" feature. Here, AI collaborates with users to devise development strategies, which are then executed post-user approval. SOLOCoder also boasts the capability to intelligently coordinate multiple agents, simulating the experience of working with a seasoned AI development team.
The official version adopts a three-column interface, encompassing a multi-task list, a conversation flow window, and a tool panel. This layout supports simultaneous multi-task development and offers transparent, real-time progress monitoring for each task. The conversation flow window has been optimized for clarity, automatically generating succinct summaries at the completion of pivotal steps.
The tool panel consolidates essential tools, including databases, AI services, deployment, and payment systems, thereby minimizing the need to toggle between various platforms. The newly introduced code change tracking feature enables users to swiftly grasp code additions and modifications. Additionally, the context compression feature mitigates the model's loss of focus due to extended contexts that can arise from prolonged questioning sessions.
TRAE provides users with the flexibility to choose between IDE and SOLO development modes, allowing them to seamlessly switch based on their preferences and discover the most effective human-AI collaborative development approach.
