In a recent interview, Parag Agrawal, the former CEO of Twitter, disclosed that his artificial intelligence (AI) startup, Parallel Web Systems, has successfully secured $100 million in Series A financing. This capital injection is earmarked for the development of a web search framework tailored specifically for AI agents, as well as to facilitate transactions with owners of online content. Post-funding, the company now boasts a valuation of $740 million. This latest funding round was jointly led by renowned venture capital firms Kleiner Perkins and Index Ventures, and also saw contributions from existing backers, including Khosla Ventures.
