Based on the earnings report issued by SoftBank Group on November 11, as of March 31, SoftBank had inked a conclusive agreement with OpenAI to carry out a follow-up investment of up to $40 billion in OpenAI Global. Out of this total, $10 billion is set to be on-lent to co-investors, with SoftBank's actual investment anticipated to reach $30 billion. The inaugural round of $10 billion financing was wrapped up in the first quarter. During the second round of financing, SoftBank entered into a revised agreement in October. This agreement grants SoftBank the freedom to fully inject an additional $22.5 billion in investment, free from any specific conditions. The company also has plans to finalize the entire investment in December via SoftBank Vision Fund 2.
