In a bid to drive up downloads of its Copilot chatbot, Microsoft has enlisted the help of several highly influential figures in the United States. These influencers are tasked with convincing young consumers that Microsoft's AI assistant stands toe-to-toe with ChatGPT in terms of capability. Indeed, such promotional efforts are crucial for Microsoft at this juncture. The tech giant recently disclosed that its Copilot suite of assistants has amassed 150 million monthly active users. Nevertheless, when pitted against its competitors, this figure pales in comparison. OpenAI's ChatGPT, for instance, proudly announces a staggering 800 million weekly active users, while Google's Gemini also flexes its muscles with 650 million monthly active users.
