Today, AutoNavi has announced the seamless incorporation of its 'Eagle Eye Protection' early warning mechanism into its affiliated ride-hailing platforms, as well as its carpooling service. This integration allows drivers and vehicle owners to receive crucial alerts directly on their devices, eliminating the need for any supplementary configuration. Once integrated, the system is adept at swiftly recognizing perilous situations and promptly notifying drivers across a range of hazardous scenarios, thereby significantly diminishing the occurrence of safety incidents and minimizing customer grievances.
Developed collaboratively by the China Academy of Safety Science and Technology and AutoNavi, and launched in September of this year, the Eagle Eye Protection system harnesses an extensive repository of driving data. It employs a sophisticated spatial intelligence framework and cloud-based AI large models to scrutinize anomalies and deliver precise early warning notifications, affording drivers valuable time to react. Presently, the system encompasses 17 distinct travel scenarios and is implemented on a nationwide scale.
