Recently, Simple AI—a burgeoning force in the realm of embodied intelligent robots—has successfully secured both seed and seed+ round funding within a span of just three months, amassing a total of 200 million yuan. The seed round financing was co-led by Shunwei Capital and CCV, with Junshan Capital and BV Baidu Ventures also joining in. Meanwhile, the seed+ round financing was spearheaded by Junshan Capital, with existing investors Shunwei Capital, CCV, and BV Baidu Ventures further increasing their investments. Other institutions, including Qifu Capital and Dexun Investment, also participated in the follow-up investment, with CloudLink Capital acting as the financial advisor. The funds raised will be primarily channeled into the research and development of the core components (both “brains” and “bodies”) of embodied robots, aiming to fast-track their commercial deployment.
