On Wednesday, Snap disclosed that its revenue for the third quarter outperformed analyst forecasts. Additionally, the company announced a strategic partnership with Perplexity AI, aimed at incorporating Perplexity's AI-powered search engine into the Snapchat platform. Under this agreement, Perplexity AI will compensate Snap with a total of $400 million, comprising both cash and equity, over the course of one year. The associated revenue from this collaboration is projected to begin materializing in financial reports starting from 2026. Once integrated, Snapchat users will gain the ability to access verified answers to their queries directly within the app.
