Qi Junyuan, who was at the helm of the Doubao PC - end product at ByteDance, has tendered his resignation. He completed his undergraduate studies in the Information Management Department at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. While still in college, he founded Teambition, a SaaS (Software - as - a - Service) product designed for collaborative office work. In 2019, Alibaba acquired this project for a staggering $100 million. Following the acquisition, Qi Junyuan joined Alibaba and took on the role of the person in charge of Alibaba Cloud Drive. In early 2023, he made the move to Feishu under the ByteDance umbrella. Then, in 2024, he was transferred to the newly - established Flow department, where he was put in charge of the Doubao PC - end product.
