The General Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government has unveiled the "Comprehensive Plan for the Warm Winter and Joyful Tourism Consumption Season in Guangdong." This initiative will center around four key activities, one of which is the "Tech-Innovation Bay Area" Science and Technology Industrial Tour. This particular event is designed to craft premium tech tourism itineraries, linking premier tech-innovation hubs such as esteemed universities, research institutions, tech parks, and significant infrastructure. Through these itineraries, tourists will have the opportunity to engage in state-of-the-art tech experiences, including AI, drones, and autonomous driving.
Simultaneously, the plan encourages tech enterprises to develop tech tourism projects, drawing inspiration from successful models like the Shenzhen Guangming Science and Technology Museum. It also promotes a novel approach to market-driven public welfare venues. Furthermore, the initiative will spotlight 51 top-tier industrial tourism routes, with the ambition of expanding industrial tourism resources to roughly 300 by the close of 2025 and fostering the emergence of new industrial tourism hotspots.
The provincial and municipal governments will collaborate to introduce an "Industry+" check-in map. This map will serve as a guide for tourists to explore advanced manufacturing sites, including industrial clusters and smart manufacturing parks. Additionally, it will feature meticulously designed industrial visit routes and hands-on experiences.
