On October 16, 2025, Google introduced its latest video generation model, Veo 3.1. This new iteration brings notable enhancements in several key areas, including audio output quality, refined editing capabilities, and the effectiveness of image-to-video conversion.

One of the standout features of Veo 3.1 is its native audio generation support. This allows users to effortlessly incorporate objects into videos and seamlessly blend them with the original footage, creating a more cohesive and engaging viewing experience.

At present, Google is in the process of gradually rolling out Veo 3.1 across multiple platforms. These include Google's video editing platform Flow, the Gemini application, the Vertex AI platform, and the Gemini API interface. Since the launch of Flow back in May of this year, users have already generated over 275 million videos using the application, a testament to its popularity and the growing demand for advanced video creation tools.
