The Office of the Artificial Intelligence Industry Chain Leader in Sichuan Province (equivalent to the Provincial Department of Science and Technology) and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission have recently jointly released the 'Zhuge Space' Construction Work Plan. This plan elucidates that the demonstration zone for the artificial intelligence industry ecosystem will be constructed along the trajectory of "propelling industries through science and technology, luring industries with computational prowess, fostering industries via scenarios, and fortifying industries with ecosystems." The overarching aim is to transform it into a globally recognized hub for autonomous and controllable AI technologies, a potent magnet for diverse and heterogeneous computing power, a vanguard for benchmark demonstration scenarios, and a testing ground for the industrial ecosystem. The plan envisions that by 2027, 'Zhuge Space' will have successfully attracted and nurtured over 10 leading enterprises within the chain, introduced more than 20 high-impact projects, unveiled over 30 industry-specific large-scale models, and created more than 50 benchmark demonstration application scenarios across domains such as 'AI + Manufacturing' and 'AI + Transportation.' Additionally, it aims to amass over 100 core AI enterprises and attain national leadership in areas like embodied intelligence, spatial intelligence, and world models.
