According to CNBC, Apple is currently in the "final stages of negotiations" to acquire the computer vision startup Prompt AI, with the intention of acquiring both its core technology and talented workforce. Established in 2023, Prompt AI's flagship offering, the Seemour app, is capable of linking up with home security cameras and delivering sophisticated recognition and analysis functionalities. Apple's initiative is regarded as a major stride in bolstering its smart home security and visual perception ecosystem. The management team at Prompt has briefed its employees on the progress of the acquisition deal. Some employees who are not eligible to join Apple will receive compensation and will have the chance to apply for other roles within Apple.
