At the roundtable session of the main forum during the 2025 China Mobile Global Partners Conference, Wang Xingxing, who serves as the founder, CEO, and CTO of Unitree Robotics, offered his valuable perspectives. He emphasized that robots and embodied AI (artificial intelligence) possess enormous market potential across three key areas: household life, service and entertainment, as well as industrial products.

Nevertheless, he also pointed out that substantial challenges persist in both household and industrial applications. In household environments, apart from technological factors, it's crucial to consider ethical and safety requirements. For instance, ensuring that robots don't invade users' privacy and operate safely around family members, especially children and the elderly, is of utmost importance. In industrial settings, robots need to outperform human labor in terms of efficiency and cost. Only when robots can work more efficiently and at a lower cost than human workers can they be adopted on a large scale.
