The college startup Campus, which has the backing of Sam Altman, has brought on board Jerome Pesenti, the former head of artificial intelligence at Meta, to serve as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Additionally, Campus has acquired Pesenti's AI startup, Sizzle AI, for an undisclosed sum. The founder of Campus remarked that this acquisition is poised to propel the company's strategic 'roadmap' forward by two to three years, facilitating the delivery of tailored learning services.

Campus is on a mission to make education more accessible. It was originally founded with the goal of revolutionizing the community college system by providing accredited associate degree programs. At present, the platform boasts an enrollment of over 3,000 students, with an annual tuition fee of $7,320. Students have the opportunity to apply for Pell Grants, and the company extends a range of services to support its student body. To date, Campus has secured over $100 million in funding from a diverse array of investors.
